Because this document provides an overview of the various clay construction techniques that are possible with Tierrafino Clay and Tadelakt techniques.
But such as: Base and Duro, Finish and Paints, Tadelakt and how to use them on different materials substrates and as a surface.
And shown: A side view of the Tierrafino demonstration panel. So we have created this sample wall in the tierrafino showroom, because we want to show to our visitors and applicator.
Fermacell board:
Fermacell RK glued, 100 mm wide fiberglass reinforced tape. Tierracol contact 3 mm and roughened with a metal comb and 5 mm Base S2 without straw, and smoothed with DryPaint green.
But so many types of plaster and paints can also be applied on Fermacell
Clay boards panels description of materials used:
Clay boards 22 mm and jute 150 mm reinforced, TierraCol contact 3 mm but roughened with a metal comb and 5 mm Base S2 without straw smooth plastered and with DryPaint in four thin layers to high gloss polish.
But a variety of other plasters and paints can also be applied.
So WEM system description of the plaster structure:
Wood fiber insulation board 20 mm, WEM heating system and 20 mm Base with straw S1, roughened with metal comb and 10 mm Base S1 with straw and fiberglass reinforcement on top. Maximum 5 mm Base S1 with straw, smooth plastered. I-Paint Nassau Orange.
But finishing with other clay plaster and paints is also possible.
Plaster board description of materials used:
So plaster board with the joints and holes filled. Tierrafino contact primer and 3 mm Tierrafino Finish Delphi white. For other finishes such as Duro, T-Paint, DryPaint and I-Paint, smooth the surface completely with Gypsum or TierraCol 3 – 5 mm.
So processing with other plasters and paints is possible..
Wedi board description of materials used:
20 mm Wedi-Board and primer Ardex P51 and 4 mm Ardex A950, glass fiber reinforced and 3 mm Ardex A950, but roughened with a textured roller, 4 – 5 mm Tierrafino Stone (Tadelakt) 5% Gomera gray and 95% Delphi white, diamond shaped sgraffito.
But plaster layers with other clay and lime products and paints is possible.
Reed description of materials used:
Reed, 10 mm Base S2 without straw and 10 mm Base S2 without straw, and 3 mm Tierrafino Finish Dover-white rough finish.
But other Finishes such as Duro and T-Paint and I-Paint and DryPaint also possible.
Stone mesh description of materials used:
Stone mesh and 10 mm Base S2 without straw and on top 10 mm Base S2 without straw. Left side: Maximum 3.5 mm Tierrafino Finish Gomera gray with 10% mother-of-pearl, scouring pad and brushed. Right side: 5 mm Tierrafino Base White, treated with a rough scouring pad.
Nearly all our finishes plasters and paints possible to apply.
Wood fiber description of materials used:
Wood fiber insulation board 40 mm and 3 mm TierraCol, 100 mm wide fiberglass reinforcement and 10 mm Base S2 with straw and DryPaint in two layers, painted.
Other plasters and paints also possible.
Bricks description of materials used:
Brick. Left side: 8 mm Base S1 with straw and 2 mm Duro Dover-white, stainless steel plaster profile. Right side: primer Ardex P51 and 4 mm Ardex A950, glass fiber reinforcement, 3 mm Ardex A950, textured roller but roughened, Tierrafino Stone (Tadelakt) 4 – 5 mm Gomera gray with Haas sgrafitto.
Ytong description but materials used:
Ytong blocks. Right side: 6 mm TierraCol and T-Paint Gomera and stainless steel plaster profile. Left side: primer Ardex P51 and 3 mm Ardex A950 andx glass fiber reinforcement and 2 mm Ardex A950, structure roller because roughened and Tierrafino Stone (Tadelakt) Dover-white 4- 5 mm.
